Parish Nurse:
Trinity
Lutheran Church has two Parish Nurses. Both are Parish Nurse
certified and both are Registered Nurses.
Holly Zieman is paid by Trinity Lutheran for 10 hours a week.
She is available at the church on Wednesdays to visit with
you about any health issues you have. She also does blood
pressure checks. She visits home/hospital parishioners for
Pastor Bruce and helps him in other ways.
Brenda Loken is available between church services to answer
your health questions and check your blood pressure.

Friends
in Need:
Trinity
has a program that financially helps people in our church and
community who find themselves in a "time of need"...
Anyone is invited to contribute at any time. All requests and
gifts are confidential. Requests may be given to Pastor Bruce,
Carmen or Holly. Various gifts have included gift certificates
to pharmacy needs, groceries, clothing, gas, utilities and phone
cards.

Trinity's Taxi Service:
If
you or someone you know would like a ride to church on Sunday
mornings, we now have our taxi service up and running. Weekly
church bulletins will have the name and phone number of the
following weeks driver. Please feel free to contact the driver
directly for a ride by noon on Saturday. We will need a signed
release of responsibility from that is provided by the church.

Carrington's Daily Bread.
Carrington's food panty moved to main street in April, 2006 and is now called "Carrington's Daily Bread" It is operated by the Carrington Ministerial Association and staffed by community members from 3:30 to to 5:30 pm ... Monday through Friday. Volunteers are always needed help staff the office. For more information about volunteering, call Laura at 652-3399 or Jan at 652-2709.
Trinity collects food donations for Carrington's Daily Bread on a continuing basis. |
Support Groups:
Compassionate Friends meets on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at the Northern Plains Conference room in Carrington from 7-9 pm.
Suicide Survivors Support Group normally meet the last Tuesday of each month at 7 pm at the east room of the Federated Church in Carrington.
