These beautiful hats were made by Lillian Ellingson and her friends and relations.
"Stocking hats for little ones in Honduras" project is
sponsored by the Northeastern Minnesota Synod of the ELCA.
The hats filled two large boxes and were delivered to Duluth, MN by way
of Moorehead and Detroit Lakes through the efforts of a number of caring
people. From there they will join a regular container shipment to Honduras.
A group of dedicated women (some work from home) made 94 quilts in 2007-2008. 79 quilts were sent to Lutheran World Relief, 10 quilts were taken to Nicaragua and 5 quilts remain in the church to be given to people in need in our area.
There were also 40 school kits, and 19 health kits sent to Lutheran World relief whose contents were gathered from donations by the church congregation, school bags were sewn by a Trinity member and all were
assembled by church members.
