The former Trinity Lutheran Church building
was demolished on October 3rd, 2007.
The structure was built in 1934 with all labor donated. Much of the donated labor came from farmers in the area since there was a total crop failure and almost no harvest. The first service was held December 16, 1934. In December of 1979, Trinity moved to their new and present location at Popular Avenue.

This cross from the front of the church could not be saved because it was made of cement and in very bad shape.
The corner stone was saved and is in the Memory Garden behind the current Trinity Church
